Doylestown Pennsylvania is a beautiful historic town. It lies in bucolic Bucks County, PA, which prides itself with cultivating the genius’s of James Michener, Oscar Hammerstein II, Margaret Mead and Pearl S. Buck. Serenity House and Hospice Support of Doylestown, Inc. is a volunteer organization providing physical, emotional and spiritual support without cost, to those incurably ill members of our community and to nurture those who love them. Within a free standing residence or within someone’s home, our highly trained compassionate volunteers provide non-medical care to those at the end of life. Within this peaceful village setting, where the quality of life and spirit are nurtured and explored,
Bereavement counseling and financial services are also available. Hearing is the last sense to diminish when someone is at the end of life. Listening to music from one’s lifetime brings great comfort and joy – not only to the patient, but the caregivers too. This CD is an act of love and compassion. The generosity of these artists proves that where there is great love, there are always miracles. I thank all of the people involved in this gift of love to our community. -Nina McKissock, RN
